A Knox Box is required to be installed in an approved location, by the Paragould Fire Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Any newly constructed building that has a fire sprinkler system or centrally-monitored fire alarm system shall have at minimum a 3200 series Knox Box installed. Any building that changes occupancy class and causes the building to be fitted with a sprinkler system or centrally-monitored fire alarm system shall have at minimum a 3200 Series Knox Box installed. The 3200 series Knox Box can be purchased online only at the Knox Box website. After completing your order the Paragould Fire Department will confirm and approve the order. Once the Knox Box has been installed a fire department representative will come to your location and the following will be required.
- A key, keys, electronic fob or fobs, cards, etc. to access the fire alarm control panel, fire alarm annunciator panel, automatic sprinkler riser room, etc. or any other fire protection system.
