Overview

The City of Paragould is a first-class city that operates under a Mayor-Council form of government. The City Council is comprised of 8 members and is the legislative and policy-making body of the City government. The Council passes ordinances and resolutions that dictate City policy. The Council is responsible for the approval of the City budget and appointments to various Boards and Commissions.
