Airport

Welcome to Kirk Field, Paragould's city-owned, general aviation airport. Established in July 1958, Kirk Field is located one-mile northwest of the city center and occupies 220 acres. The primary runway measures 4,500 feet in length and is served by a partial parallel taxiway that extends most of the runway. The other runway is a turf crosswind runway measuring 2,500 feet in length.

The airport provides easy access to conduct business in the City of Paragould and Greene County. It also provides aviation opportunities to members of our community for personal and business transportation.

While no aircraft services are provided, there is 100 LL and Jet A self-service fuel available with a credit card. Uncovered tie-downs are also available with restaurants within walking distance.

Public Notice for Airport Projects

The City of Paragould, AR as sponsor for the Kirk Field Airport hereby announces its proposed FY 2022 to 2024 Triennial DBE Goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) airport construction projects as indicated below:

  • Fiscal Year 2022: No Project
  • Fiscal Year 2023: Install Runway Vertical / Visual Guidance System, Rehabilitate runway signage/markings,  Rehabilitate taxiway signage/markings.
  • Fiscal Year 2024: Rehabilitate runway and taxiway.
  • Overall Three-Year DBE Goal Fiscal Year 2022 to Fiscal Year 2024: 3.77%

The Airport's DBE goal methodology is based on what the airport anticipates receiving for FY 2021-2024. Significant changes to the projects as stated will require an amendment to the DBE goal.

Section 26.1, 26.23 Objectives/Policy Statement

The City of Paragould, AR/Kirk Field Airport has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. The City of Paragould, AR/Kirk Field Airport has received Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation and as a condition of receiving this assistance the City of Paragould, AR/Kirk Field Airport has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26 (hereafter referred to as "Part 26").

It is the policy of the City of Paragould, AR/Kirk Field Airport to ensure that DBEs as defined in Part 26 have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in DOT-assisted contracts.
