The Human Resources department handles the recruitment, screening, and hiring for all departments. It is also responsible for the administration of personnel files, compensation and payroll functions, benefits, City policies and directives, safety and training programs, employee relations, grievances, disciplinary procedures, writes employee handbooks, establishes evaluation programs, and serves as ADA coordinator
